Unlike a network hub, this switch doesn't split your connection, allowing each device to access maximum speeds. The switch auto-negotiates the connection details and you only have to plug in the cable. Integrated features like advanced store-and-forward packet switching and auto partitioning help ensure that the quality of the data passing through the switch is consistent and optimized. The SD216 supports 10BaseT and 100BaseT connections in either half- or full-duplex mode. Using the latter, each port can achieve a maximum speed of 200 Mbps.
